Sorry that I haven't written on here in so freaking long!

My first Thanksgiving was a smashing success!  I was so worried that I would screw something up but everything turned out wonderfully!

Yesterday we put up our Christmas tree and decorated the house.  All we have left to do is put up the outside lights.

Things are getting better since my last post.  I prefer to keep the issue under wraps, but not to worry it's nothing super huge and it affects only me (besides my poor husband that has to listen to me, ha).  I was devastated, hurt, confused, empty, angry...etc...and the feelings still linger, however I have been working on them.  So, thank you for your prayers and thoughts, and if you wouldn't mind, please keep saying a couple for me.  Thanks!  Thank God for my amazing husband, he's been so understanding/good about this.  If I didn't have him, I don't know what I would do.

In other news:  I started a new job at the local nursing home as an activity aide.  In short, I get to play with old folks all day.  Weather it be BINGO, cards, "volleyball", horseshoes or whatever.  I am enjoying it so far, and it's nice to sit and talk with these people who have such cool histories.
