HAPPY!!!!!

Ok...so perhaps I'm going crazy...big whoop.  I just need to figure out life...figure out what is important to me and what isn't.   Like I said previously...I am unhappy with ME...not so much anybody/anything else.  I just need to learn to not take so much to heart and to stop over analyzing every single thing that comes my way, and just be ok with the way things are (as long as there's nothing I can do about it anyways) .  SO!  With that in mind...Happy thoughts...Happy thoughts.

Bitchy Post Not Worth Reading...

...but I need to vent...

I don't even know where to start.  In short, I pretty much just don't want to be here anymore.  I'm tired of my life as it is.  I'm tired of the people in my life treating me like Im not worth the salt God used to make me.  I'm tired of not being appreciated for the things I do, when I go above and beyond to make the people I love feel appreciated for the things that they do.  I'm tired of struggling and having to fight for everything I have.   I'm tired of people who play the "holier than thou" card and give unsolicited advice.  Im tired of people complaining about the things that they practically beg for.  I'm tired of basically just being so unsatisfied with ME that all I seem to do is complain myself.

LOOOONG!

Oy...It's been awhile eh?  Well...let's see here...what has been happening in Charity's world?

The wind is coming from the north tonight and the elk across the creek have started bugling and as slowly as summer came on it is fading.  The nights are getting longer, the days are getting shorter and the wind has a bite to it.  My favorite time of year is Fall...Small town football, Hunting Season, and being in some of the most gorgeous country on earth when the leaves change doesn't hurt either.  I am in LOVE with Montana...especially this time of year.

But...what I have been up to goes as follows:  In short it's been a nice eventful few weeks...but if you want the lengthy, more detailed account...keep reading :)

I guess I'll start at our trip to Yellowstone a couple of weeks ago.  I had a long weekend off of work so we decided to head down to the Park to celebrate our 4 YEAR anniversary!  First off, I can't believe it's already been four years.  My husband is amazing and I love him more than anything on Earth!  Anyways, we headed down on a Friday and had a good day cruising around.  We didn't see much wildlife which is unusual, however we usually go later in the season instead of right in the swing of it so since there was so many people, I'm guessing that's why we didnt see much.  We did see Bison of course, and elk and a bear..but that was pretty much it and all of them were not in the main part of the park, all the animals we saw were on the side roads, SO if you are planning a trip there, make the time to head off of the main loop.  We stayed the night in Cooke City which is the North East entrance, so that we could come home over the Beartooth Pass...Let me tell you, I am so glad that I got to see that...it is AMAZING!!  At almost 11,000 feet ASL,(for comparison's sake- Logan Pass in Glacier Park is about 6,600 feet ASL)  it's gorgeous and only open for like 3 months out of the year and closed from 8PM to 8AM on the days it's passable...breathtaking beauty lemme tell you.  Plus I got to feed chipmunks at one of the overlooks and that totally made the trip...when a fat little chipmunk comes up to you and holds your outstretched hand while it eats the offered sunflower seed it's pretty dang cool.  Anyways, it was a great trip and we had a wonderful time and as always I HIGHLY recommend Yellowstone Park and now the Beartooth Highway as must see summer destinations!

The following weekend was the county fair and rodeo.  I entered several items in the fair- Pepper Jam, Date Cookies, and some Photographs.  I WON Best of show for my Jam...YAY!  And I got Blue Ribbons on my Cookies and some of my Photographs, Red on the rest of the Photos.  We took in the rodeo and played around but nothing else too eventful.

This last weekend, We had to take down some dead trees around my Grandparent's ranch, so I had fun using a chainsaw for the first time and Puttering around on the tractor and spending time with my family.  I said "See you soon" to a friend who was going back to Nevada for the school year (she's a teacher) and had a couple drinks with another pal who I haven't seen in a while  Then....Sunday I got sick...and today, I am finally on the mend.  Whoof, I wouldn't wish that sickness on anyone.

ANNNYWAYS...It's been great, and I am very happy right now.  I am so thankful for everything I have in my life, I am very blessed.

Family Fun Time!

Greetings!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day weekend!

We decided to go camping with our family for the 4th of July weekend.  We did some fishing, went mushroom hunting, worked some cattle and of course roasted marshmallows and made smores around the fire.

Monday we headed home exhausted and sunburnt but it was a fun family filled weekend, and I can't wait to do it again!

What did you do on the long weekend?

Sighs of Contentment

Hello lovers!!  I hope that you are all well.  I am extremely happy to report that for the first time in a long time, life is good.  Well...life is always good, but I'm happy now.  I just had to take a step back and really take a good look at all the amazing things that are happening in my life and that make my life worth being happy for.

First of all, I have the world's most amazing and supportive husband.  I love him more than words can explain and I thank GOD every single day for bringing him into my life.

I have a pretty wonderful family.  While we don't always see eye to eye, there is an amazing love between all of us.

I have a best friend that I can do nothing with and still have an amazing time, and no matter how long we go between seeing each other or talking to each other we both know that we will always be there for each other no matter  what.   I love and miss you very very much Quinnifred!!

I have the sweetest puppy in the universe!!  She is wonderful and her unconditional love warms my heart all the time.   Dakota, along with our snuggly puddy cats bring me smiles.

Of course there are numerous other every day little things that bring happiness to my life, whether it's a hug from one of my patients or seeing someone at the grocery store that I haven't seen in a long time.  Life is wonderful.
